Matt Rossi has recorded and written songs with some of country's elite artist over the last decade that has graced millions of fans worldwide. From penning multiple songs with country titan Garth Brooks (Stronger Than Me, Cowboys and Friends, Fun) to living legend Willie Nelson for his song Leave You With A Smile off of Nelson's Grammy Award winning album A Beautiful Life which won the award for BEST COUNTRY ALBUM in 2022.

Neon Neighborhood

Garth Brooks' "Neon Neighborhood" off the Time Traveler album, is a vibrant tribute to the bustling Lower Broadway area in Nashville, a place near and dear to the country music icon's heart. Co-written with Matt Rossi, Tony Arata, Kent Blazy, and Bryan Kennedy, the song captures the unique atmosphere and energy of this famous street.

In 2023 the song gained extra significance with the opening of Brooks' own bar, Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk, and the Prime Video series Friends in Low Places: Building the Oasis where the song was selected as the theme song of the six (6) episode series.

Leave You With A Smile

Released on Willie Nelson's 89th birthday, "A Beautiful Time" is a collection of original songs and carefully chosen covers that reflect on life, love, and mortality. The album won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in 2022. "Leave You With A Smile," co-written by Matt Rossi, Buddy Cannon, and Bobby Terry, captures the album's introspective mood.

Stronger Than Me

"Stronger Than Me," a song recorded by Garth Brooks, and the second lead single off his 2020 album FUN, was co-written by Matt Rossi and Bobby Terry.

Brooks premiered the song at the 2018 CMA Awards and dedicated it to his wife, Trisha Yearwood. The debut performance was a touching experience, with Trisha visibly moved to tears in the audience.
